Gallery Café has evolved into
an exciting
creative space incorporating three
professionally run galleries
and a
large in-house café seating up to
120 people.
We offer two artists four week
exhibitions
running consecutively with
one shared opening night. The third
gallery is in the process of
becoming a shared art and object
space.
Within the café there are now three distinct galleries spaces over two levels, all of
which offer large wall spaces and
one of which is also suitable for sculptural
installations.
The first gallery is located
in the lower level of the cafe
(Gallery 1 Floor Plan).
A
second gallery takes place on the entrance of the cafe,
just after the front of
house (Gallery 2 Floor
Plan).
And the last gallery is located in the back room of the cafe,
where
most of the tables are located
(Gallery 3 Floor Plan).
With over 3000 visitors to the café each week
artists exposure will be greater
than most galleries in Sydney.
Coupled with enthusiastic support from a
professional curator
and large opening nights involving copious amounts of wine
and great food; successful, enjoyable shows are guaranteed.
Our establishment is fast becoming a regular haunt for locals and visitors from
surrounding neighbourhoods.
While artwork sales have always been strong, our recently instigated opening
nights have proven a great time for locals to meet one another and the artists
whose work they're purchasing.
Our rates are highly competitive with four week
shows
offering a longer than usual exhibition time.
